🌟Week 4 of our Good News Giveaway!🌟

Each Friday (I hope!🤪), I’ll post a giveaway for anyone who works in Kennedale ISD — teachers, paras, custodians, administrators…everyone! To enter, all I ask is that you share one good thing from your week. Maybe a coworker helped you, an administrator supported you, a student made you laugh, everyone showed up on time, you received a sweet note…whatever made your week a little brighter, let’s hear it!

Today was the first Kennedale High School pep rally of the year with a fun Hawaiian theme. All of the performances were great, cross country, volleyball and football athletes recognized. AP Scholars honored. And the 4 KHS staff of the month were announced. Hats off to our STUCO, Kennedale High School Wildcat Band, Cheer Kennedale and Kennedale High School Aristokats! Tonight’s home football game vs Alvarado is at 7pm! Volleyball plays at 5pm & 6pm. See y’all soon!! 🐾💚

Another great campus visit to KISD Patterson Elementary with fellow Trustees, Natalie McKay and Sean Glovier. Our phenomenal principal, Ms. Clark, walked us around to get updates on the campus and see our BEAUTIFUL new library again. 📚✨It is stunning! All of the large windows and natural light. All of the fun spaces set up for seating. Overlooking the playground on one side and open greenery on the other. I want to have meetings in this space! Haha. It’s so peaceful.✨💫

🤩💚We also got to catch up with multiple teachers and staff. So very thankful for each and every person that makes this campus so phenomenal! You can see how they all pour everything they have into all of their students and it just makes me beam with pride. 🐾💚🙌🏼 It’s always a great day to be a Wildcat!🥰🫶🏼

📚💚 What a great campus visit to KISD Patterson Elementary last week! 🐾🥰

I loved catching up with staff, hearing about their great start to the year, and BEST of all… finally seeing our brand-new, absolutely BEAUTIFUL library in action! ✨📚

This space was part of our 2023 Bond, and seeing the vision come to life—with students reading, learning, and finding cozy spots to enjoy a good book—is so special! 💚 The natural light, big windows overlooking the new playground (and its new canopy! 👏🏼), and all the thoughtful details make this space truly amazing.

Mrs. Isch has done such a beautiful job making the library feel warm and welcoming. I told her I may just have to stop by and do a little reading myself! 📖🥰

🐾💚Good Things Giveaway: Week 3 Winner!💚🐾
We loved reading about all of the many good things that happened last week at every campus. How fun to have at least a few people enter from all 5 campuses. Almost 30 people participated again this week and Hannah just drew a winner. Watch to see who won!! 🤩I’ll bring your GC up to work this week.
