We’re so excited to be part of a special night of comedy, community and giving back!

The Webhannet Charitable Foundation is hosting an evening at Vinegar Hill featuring York County deputy-turned-comedian Juston McKinney, with proceeds benefiting River Tree Arts and Special Surfers.

Tickets include cocktails, delicious appetizers and an evening of laughs, all while supporting two local organizations dedicated to creating meaningful, inclusive experiences through the arts and recreation.

We’re so lucky to have beloved local art teachers join us for summer camps! Ms. Munger, art teacher at Sea Road School, will hold her final three-day camp - Painting Animal Portraits - August 11 - 13 for kids in grades 3-5.

Featured here are works and students from her recent Mixed Media camp. Their creativity and talent was a sight to see!

Looking for a way to give back to your community and have some fun this summer?

River Tree Arts is seeking a responsible and outgoing person to staff our front desk on Thursdays from 8:30 am-12:30pm from July 2 - August 20. This volunteer will be tasked with light administrative duties including, but not limited to, nswering the phone, interacting with children and adults, monitoring student arrival and departure, and assisting faculty, if needed. This person will sit at a desk in the main entrance lobby and greet everyone entering the building. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and an affinity for detail would be very helpful. 😃

Don't miss out on this unique opportunity!

This beginner 3-hour workshop is the perfect way to learn metalsmithing and spend time with your teen! You'll learn essential techniques such as hammering, soldering, cutting, and shaping metal. The main project will be creating a ring, but you are also welcome to make a bracelet, pendant, or keychain. There’s plenty of room for creativity, and we encourage you to explore your own ideas.
