This year’s Freshman Class Retreat was a truly special day dedicated to welcoming our newest Mounties into the sisterhood and helping them discover the rich legacy of Mount St. Mary Academy. 💙

Throughout the day, students participated in meaningful activities with the Alumnae Office, learning about our school’s storied history, celebrating the excitement of the present, and reflecting on our hopes for the future.

We were especially honored to welcome members of the Sisters of St. Mary of Namur—Sr. Caroline Smith, Sr. Roberta Fulton, Sr. Rosemary Riggie ’71, and Sr. Patricia Brown ’60, a member of the MSM Board of Trustees. The Sisters shared their personal experiences and reflections, giving our students the opportunity to ask questions and hear what Mount St. Mary Academy means to them.

A heartfelt thank-you to our Class of 2030 Faculty Moderator and Former Principal, Mrs. Dawn Hurley Riggie ’71, for organizing such a meaningful and memorable day. We are grateful for the opportunity to continue passing our sisterhood, traditions, and legacy from one generation of Mounties to the next. 💙

Our incredible students surpassed their fundraising goal by over $7,000! A wonderful celebration to kick off the brand new school year! 👟💙⚡️

Our incredible Chaplain and MSM Legend, Msgr. Fran Weldgen, returns to the Buffalo Bills! 💙♥️

The Mount St. Mary Academy Marching Band returned to the annual Lewiston Peach Festival on Saturday, September 12, kicking off the brand-new school year in style!

We’re so excited to welcome both our returning members and the newest members of the band. What a fantastic way to start the season!
