This program launched its first trip over the Summer of 2024, and has been leading multiple trips every Summer since. We are committed to the long-term growth and development of our students' knowledge and character. This program helps students expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, grow more confident and independent, and understand new people, places, and cultures.

06/19/2026

Day 11- Last day on tour!
1- Late start so I think everyone enjoyed sleeping in!
2- Caroline met us at the hotel and was our tour guide through Vienna. This was bus tour and got to see some highlights of the city.
3- Then the bus dropped us off at the Schonbrunn Palace gardens for lunch followed by an audio tour through the Palace.
4- The bus picked us up and took us the the Museum area where kids had some free time to explore a variety of museums. A group enjoyed the Greek and Roman Museum while others enjoyed the Natural History Museum.
5- Supper consisted of Wiener schnitzel and potato salad.
Goodbye Europe- we enjoyed you immensely! Fun and lasting memories were had by all!

Day 10- Much more relaxed today.
1- Later departure so everyone got to sleep in a bit. It was about 3.5-4 hour drive to Vienna with a bathroom stop along the way.
2- Short walk to see a few sites that we will learn more about tomorrow with our guided tour. We found St. Patrick’s Cathedral which did NOT disappoint.
3- Free time for shopping, the kids did a horse and carriage ride, lunch, and relaxing.
4- Dinner was a traditional Austrian dish- stew with gnocchi, but it reminded us of the same noodle in the past several stews.

Day 9- BUSY day and hot in Budapest Hungary!
1- Started the day at the Széchenyi thermal bath. They had outside and inside baths, saunas and a colder pool for actual swimming. Everyone had a relaxing time. The students used the time to teach each other how to braid hair- 😂. Such a fun group of students!
2- Stopped at Freedom square and learned a little about the 7 original tribes who settled here and the 12 kings in this beautiful memorial.
3- Had a small amount of free time for lunch and souvenir shopping. Langos is a Hungarian food that a few tried. (Very yummy!)
4- Had a guided tour through Budapest and did lots of walking today. Great history of how Hungary started and how their government works now that they are out of Communist rule. Got to see the castle and a beautiful St Mary’s Basilica which had beautiful stained glass! Walked back to the Pest side by way of the Chain bridge.
5- Supper was another traditional Hungarian dish called chicken paprikash and it was well eaten amongst the group too.
6- We opted for an hour river cruise on the Danube River and sang songs as we waved at other boats.
7- Lastly we stopped on the Buda side to see the Parliament building lit up at night- absolutely beautiful. (Maybe I am not the only one who didn’t know this- this used to be two different cities Buda and Pest- they are now combined and it is called Budapest.)

Day 8- Travel from Poland through Slovakia and finally Budapest Hungary for a yummy supper of goulash with noodles.
The Tatra Mountains were beautiful and we passed by a Slovakian castle along the way. We had 2 hours in Slovakia for lunch, but it had very beautiful countryside.

Day 7- Aushwitz and Birkneau in the morning and exploring Krakow in the afternoon.
1- We had an earlier start than normal but needed to be to Aushwitz on time to meet our guide. This place lands differently for everyone and we reminded everyone in the group to be respectful of how people handle emotional places like this differently. Everyone was so respectful and I believe we all came away from Aushwitz and Birkneau with a different feeling than just hearing about the concentration and death camps in books and films.
2- We had meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw for lunch with apple strudel/ice cream for desert.
3- Free time in Krakow consisted of souvenir shopping, feeding the pigeons, walking around, and chilling with some Starbucks as we people watched. We also got to see an impromptu breakdance performance in the city square too. They were really good!

Day 6- Travel day from Prague to Krakow, Poland.
1- Bus rides are fantastic because we have a comfy bus and it gives us time to sleep/take a nap. We made a restroom stop and then a longer one for lunch. Kids on the trip had McDonalds and adults tried hot Polish food from a cafe in the gas station. Everyone liked what they got.
2- In Krakow we had about a 3 hour walking tour with Kudo who explained a lot of history to us. We also went into the Cathedral and Basilica.
3- supper consisted of several different types of pierogi’s and coleslaw with a traditional polish type of donut for desert.
All in all a great day!

Day 5- We were in Prague today.
1- we had a lovely guide named Jane who spent several hours touring with us. She talked to us about the history in Prague. I’ll try and put captions with some of the pictures so you can learn a little with us too. 😁
2- We had a good amount of free time so we racked up the steps with more walking. Students went to different places for lunch and shopping. We met back together for the History of Torture were we learned about ways people were tortured in the old ages. I am saddened how people could inflict the type of pain on people that we have heard about and seen at this museum.
Long travel day tomorrow to Krakow Poland.
It was a good day today though!!

06/12/2026

Day 4-
1- Bus to Dresden Germany for free time and lunch stop.
2- Bus to Prague, Czech Republic or Czechia. In Prague we familiarized ourselves with the city square and then went exploring to see what shops and museums are close by. We will spend the whole day in Prague tomorrow so this gave us time to scout out what we might want to do.
3- dinner was pork with potatoes and salad. Desert was pancakes with raspberry sauce. Everyone agreed today was a good meal too!
4- No group photo today,
Although we had some time to rest on the bus, I think most if not all are ready for a good nights sleep.

06/11/2026

Day 3-
1- Much needed sleep last night- we were all well rested and ready for adventure.
2- Bus tour through Berlin where we learned about East and West Germany. We had a stop at what remains of the Berlin Wall. We also spent a little time going through the Topography of Terror Museum and photo stop at Check point Charlie.
3- Bus trip to Potsdam where we got to walk through the Palace and gardens of Fredrick the Great and see his burial site.
4- some Yummy ice cream and sorbet in Potsdam before the bus ride back to Berlin.
5- tonight’s dinner was Indian food. We were wondering about why and we learned that Berlin is home to many different Nationalities. We were super glad too because everyone in the group gave this meal a thumbs up!
6- checked out the grocery store by the hotel for a snack and then a pop up African culture festival with shops and fun music.

06/10/2026

Day 1-2 consisted of travel and time in Berlin. Discussing the Berlin Wall, Hitler’s bunker which is now a parking lot, the Jewish Memorial for those who died, and even Reagan’s involvement of getting the wall torn down- it was a busy day!
