First years did an experiment for our Food Safety course to see how pathogens can be passed from hands to surface or food and back to hands. They spent time passing a balloon and then examining their hands under a black light to see the transfer of the “germs”.

First years hard at work on biscuits and quick breads this week! Second years continuing their grill projects with pork chops and mixed vegetables!

Afternoon second year students decided today was match Chef Sami day and wore their new matching chef coats from Chef Works Inc.!

This week in class the second year students are learning about live fire grilling. Starting off strong with chicken wings, pork tenderloins, and potatoes!
