🎉 WOW (Week of Welcome) continued today at James Sprunt Community College!

Students enjoyed delicious food from Mama Kea’s Food Truck and explored helpful campus and community resources during our Resource Fair in the Strickland Student Center.

It was hard to tell who was more excited about the food, the students or the staff! 😂

Thank you to Mama Kea’s and all of our Resource Fair participants for helping us welcome our students and connect them with the support they need for a successful semester! 💙💛

🏡 Start Your Career in Real Estate!

JSCC’s Real Estate Provisional Broker Online course begins September 9! This 14-week, self-paced course is designed to prepare students to meet the educational requirements for North Carolina Real Estate Provisional Broker licensure.

Course topics include:

🔑 Real estate law and contracts
💵 Financing and property valuation
🏠 Property ownership and transfer
🤝 Agency relationships
⚖️ Ethics and fair housing

Students will complete coursework through an interactive online platform, studying at their own pace while meeting established deadlines. A required proctored end-of-course examination will be administered in accordance with North Carolina Real Estate Commission requirements.

🎉 JSCC kicked off its first day of WOW (Week of Welcome) with creativity and Spartan spirit!

Today, students were invited to visit the JSCC Library to design and create their own FREE T-shirts. The excitement was incredible, with participants lined up out the door! 👕

We loved seeing so many students join the fun, and we can’t wait to continue the celebration with a brand-new event tomorrow. Stay tuned! 💙❤️
