We’re delighted to welcome Jocelyn Perez-Blanco, founder of Herban Garden, to the 2026 BotanicWise Women’s Herbal Gathering!

Jocelyn is an educator, herbalist, urban naturalist, Flower Essence Therapist, conservationist, and avid gardener whose work makes plant knowledge accessible, practical, and deeply rooted in community care. From tending houseplants and gardens to plant identification, ethnobotany, and ecosystem management, she invites her students to see the natural world with new eyes. Her classes have even been recommended by The New York Times.

We are absolutely delighted to welcome Betzy Bancroft to the Women’s Herbal Gathering this year! 🌿

Betzy has carried a deep appreciation for the magic of plants since childhood and has been teaching herbal medicine for more than three decades. An herbal practitioner and longtime educator, she helped found the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism and currently teaches at both VCIH and Sage Mountain. She also serves on the Advisory Board of United Plant Savers and brings a remarkable depth of knowledge to the art and science of preparing plant medicine.

At the Gathering, Betzy will invite us to learn with her in two wonderful classes:

🌿 Principles of Herbal Extraction
