The Gulf Coast Yacht Brokers Association is spearheading the Texas Marine Industry Jobs Initiative-saving marine industry jobs and jobs in other businesses in and around the Lakes, Bays, Rivers and Coastal waters, anywhere that boaters spend money. The key element to this is to get the Texas Legislature to pass a sales tax cap on boat purchases and making Texas a "boater friendly" state. If boat buyers go to other states that have a sales tax cap-we loose! The GCYBA needs your help in raising money to fund an economic impact study of a sales tax cap and the resulting loss of jobs and tax revenue if it is not implemented.
