Picture Day is Wednesday, September 9th at Rose Valley Elementary Cowlitz County Schools is doing a FREE kids haircut event tomorrow, August Saturday 22nd 9-3pm. "Bring your kiddos for a free back to school haircut this Saturday at the ILWU Hall!! We're going to have a bounce house, face painting and Frostys ice cream truck serving ice-cream free for children."

🎟️ Fourth graders can get a FREE family pass to all National Parks for a year.
🗻The Every Kid Outdoors program gives fourth graders and their families free access to over 2,000 federal parks, lands, and waters for an entire year. The pass is offered every year to fourth graders in the United States. No matter where you live in the U.S., you’re within two hours of an included site. Every Kid Outdoors was created so fourth graders and their families could discover our wildlife, resources, and history for free. The program chose fourth graders because research shows that kids ages nine to 11 are beginning to learn about the world around them. They’re open to new ideas, and they are likely to connect to nature and our history.

Thank you to our community and volunteers for supporting yet another upcoming year of fun, engaging, and enriching activities for our youth.
