RACERS!!!!!
As per the email I sent out:

Tri-State Outfitters is going to be holding a race night at their store in Coeur d'Alene on Friday Sep't. 23 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Alpine Haus in Spokane (South 2925 Regal St.) is having Racer Days Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016. I am sad to announce that for the first season in YEARS, there will be no Silver Cup. There just is not enough snow to safely drill gates for the race, and safety first! Please look forward with us for a great race season and to a Super Silver Cup in 2016!!!!!!!

It's Friday (already) and we are bracing for another Saturday with pouring rain forecasted. This has been the most unusual ski season that I have EVER seen!
Owen will be racing League Finals at Lookout--Good luck Owen. He is our only athlete attending finals and a big thanks for representing our team at finals!! Coach Andru will be going with him....have a great time, and may the rain become snow for you!
Coach Joel is sick, and Coach Phu will be at Schweitzer attending an exam clinic.
The mountain is opened tomorrow. 2 new inches of snow has fallen this week. Chair two is opened and they plan to have a total of 3 chairs opened. Because our coaching staff will be spread out and it is supposed to pour down rain, I am going to cancel training for tomorrow. If you planned to attend (and I know that many of you have told me that you are done for the season), please ski with your families and have a good time. I am hoping that the forecasted rain is snow at the mountain.
We are planning an end of season gathering for the 28th, and details for that will be out early next week. I am hoping to get us all together at the water park for some end of season fun. I am bummed that we could not have a Silver Cup this year, but with the inclement weather and the lack of snow, it was too risky.

Happy Sunny Friday!!

I think Winter might be back for a bit......It's cold again....let's hope that last week's snow has held up.
EEYSL had a great race last weekend at Lookout. Fresh powder had to be moved off of the course on Saturday....a first for this season! SSRA hosted a great race and fun was had by all. Mia and Michelle had a great day Saturday...both shaving time off of their second run and Mia placing 10th overall!! Way to go girls. Zachary had a good Slalom day Sunday.
We will all be at Silver this weekend. Hope for sun and snow!! If we can, gates will be set on Lower Steep & Deep.
Just an FYI....Season passes go on sale this weekend for next season....best price you will get for them is now.
