K***h County Fair/Bear-Fest parade is in the books!! The Lady Mustangs State Tournament team was honored as the Grand Marshals this year! We were humbled and thankful for the opportunity to represent our schools and communities!! Let’s go!!

The Lady Mustangs want to Thank everyone for showing up and supporting us this evening at the K***h County Fair. Some of the girls started the day making meatballs and sauce and another group showed up to help serve. Being present in our communities is a core value in our program and it’s great to see the girls show up. Once again Thank you for supporting us!!!!

Last tournament of the Summer, just the JV team was able to go to Moorhead. Leaving at 7am this morning and fighting tooth and nail all day! Super proud of these girls for putting in the work and not giving up. We don’t play to win, we play to grow, wins will happen when we grow!! Great job growing today, it was a fun day and a fun Summer! November will be here soon, so get in that gym whenever possible!!! Special thank you to the parents, athletes, sponsors and everyone that has helped us out this Summer. The Mustang program is built by your dedication and support!

The Annual Wisconsin Dells trip was a little different this year as timing didn’t work out to play in the Shootout! But we were able to play a couple games against neighboring towns and stop at a Breakdown tournament in St. Cloud on the way home. Team bonding and fun was had!!!
Basketball(well pretty much wrestling for a couple games), water park, hackysack, root beer floats, some game of trying to make you laugh, coaches got some golfing in, seafood boil and so much more.

Bob and I coached Tori at the all-star game. Even though she just had surgery, she still showed up for her teammates! She made an impression on us as coaches for sure. Support her if you can, she truly is an amazing person and would be a wonderful role model for your daughter!

It’s already been a good week of basketball!!
(Although I didn’t get many pics!)
Monday we left at 6am and traveled to Northland Community College against 10 section teams! We lost all 3 games by narrow margins, it’s never fun to lose, but we continue to build confidence along the way and the girls played hard!
Wednesday we traveled to Bemidji to scrimmage their Varsity and JV’s. They hadn’t played any games yet so it was nice for both programs to play against other teams in a game/practice environment!!

First of two parades for last year’s Section Champs and State Participants. It was a blast being able to spend some time together and celebrate with the Kelliher Community! In a few weeks we will be in Northome!! (Not a lot of good pics as there was a lot of water being thrown around)

No contact week means no tournaments or practice!! But with nothing else going on it gives everyone a chance to go watch some baseball! These boys have been raking all year and are looking to bring home the ship tomorrow!! Come support them and cheer them on!! Good Luck players and coaches!
