🐻🍝 A BEARY FUN FIRST 9 WEEKS at KMS! 🍣💙

Ms. Watson, Ms. Devin, Ms. Roya, and Ms. Lirette’s class has been cooking up some amazing learning experiences this first nine weeks!

From celebrating Fat Bear Week 🐻 to making homemade cavatelli pasta 🍝 and creating their own sourdough starters 🍞, students have been learning through hands-on activities that bring creativity, curiosity, and fun together!

They even got creative with bear cupcakes 🧁 and a special salmon-inspired treat featuring blue Jell-O for the water and a Swedish fish swimming through it! 🐟💙

We love seeing our students explore, create, and make meaningful connections through these engaging experiences. What a BEARY great start to the school year! ❤️

🎨 Creativity, Collaboration, and Comanche Artistry!

Mrs. Goboncan’s art students are bringing art to life! Drawing inspiration from figurative artists Segal and Jenkins, students are working collaboratively to cast life-sized human figures using clear packing tape.

This hands-on project challenges students to think critically about spatial interaction, body proportions, and teamwork as they transform the human form into three-dimensional works of art. 🙌

We can’t wait to see these unique creations come together!
