All of Keller ISD is heartbroken by today’s tragic events in Uvalde. School should be a safe place, and it’s devastating when that safety is threatened by acts of violence. We offer our condolences to the Uvalde CISD students, families, and employees enduring unimaginable loss.
As a precautionary measure, Keller ISD will have additional police patrols and security presence throughout the District over the final two days of school. Please be patient as we scan in all guests on campus. Safety is always our top priority!

4th grade is in the lead! But, 2nd grade made a run for it and almost closed the gap this morning! Only a few dollars separate those two teams! Kindergarten is still holding strong with third place and with some solid donations, could easily tip the scale and hit $200 in the morning meaning they have to Kiss the Pig too! Pre-K, First grade, third grade, co-curr, and office staff piggy banks are feeling pretty light, so don’t forget to send money for them! 😘😂 Tomorrow morning is the last chance to donate! Winners will be announced tomorrow during morning announcements! 🐷
Reminder that any team that reaches $200 will kiss the pig on Friday morning. And, the team with the most money donated to their Piggy Bank will have a special surprise!💋

The topic this month is CONSISTENCY; "Dads who model consistency raise kids who are consistent because the best way to teach kids about being consistent is to live in a consistent manner yourself. Consistency with kids ultimately will mean they learn to “stay at it.” This means they will have what it takes when tough times come. Learning to be consistent will mean having fulfilling relationships and will help your kids reach their full potential."

Please join us for the KHES PTA Membership Tailgate! The tailgate will take place on Tuesday, September 5th, starting at 5pm, in the KHES bus loop. There will be fun for the whole family including inflatables, music, & yard games. Bring your lawnchairs & picnic blankets!

PLEASE NOTE: It is important to note that there has been a change this year regarding breakfast availability for students. Free breakfast will only be provided to students who qualify for free and reduced meals. Students who do not qualify for this program will need to pay the full price for their breakfast. Breakfast cost for 2023-24 will be $1.30 for grades K-12. Families who qualify for reduced lunch will pay $.30 cents per breakfast.
