A note from Athletics…

Take a look at our gorgeous new volleyball equipment! I am so thankful to our Principal, Mr. Vanderplas, for seeing our need for new equipment and allowing me to purchase one full volleyball net system.

This year, we have 91 volleyball players divided into 10 volleyball teams that we have entered in the diocesan volleyball leagues. Our Swiss Guards LOVE volleyball, and this new equipment is so appreciated by all.

Thank you, Mr. Vanderplas, for making investments in our athletics program for our amazing student athletes! You are the best!

A note from Athletics…

So fun to walk back to my office and see Coach Torres putting our Swiss Guard student athletes to WORK during PE!

Coach Torres had his group working their core and legs today up on the indoor track. Their favorite part? Using the “Beast,” which is our pull-up, chin up, push up and dip machine! Today they worked the core with leg raises and tried dips. They also did lunges around the track and wall sits.

Boys and girls both getting after it, working hard together and encouraging each other. That is the Swiss Guard way!

Congratulations to the FW Diocesan Middle School Volleyball Team for placing 2nd this past weekend, losing only in the finals to Prestonwood. They took part in the Fort Worth Christian Middle School tournament.

We have 5 of our own current Swiss Guards on this team, made up of 7th and 8th grade young ladies from the diocesan feeder schools to Nolan Catholic. Well done, Lilianna, Mary Grace, Menzie, Rebecca and Abigail and the rest of your team!

The future for NCHS volleyball is looking bright, and we are so proud of our Swiss Guards for being a part of it!

💙💛💙SEAS Cheer took the field last night to cheer on our Diocesan Middle School Football Team, The Vikes! They did a great job 👏 on their debut performance.

Cheer is a year round athletic program for our 6-8th grade girls focusing on team work, character, faith and having fun while they’re at it!

Football 🏈 is offered at the Diocesan level for our 5-8th grade boys. Coaching and practicing takes place at Nolan Catholic High School.

We are blessed to be able to offer a variety of extracurricular opportunities for students to participate in! 😇
