We got some photos great photos from the GEARS (Girls Engineering and Robotics Society) 9/22 Meeting. The meeting was an Engineering Workshop that introduced the girls to other pathways/opportunities provided at KCAL. There were 3 stations: Welding (with Mr. Anderlitch), Automotive (with Mr. Serna), and Aerospace (with Mr. Lane). Teachers also had some of their own students help aid in teaching the GEARS members as well!

Ms. Bridges Photography class took some water balloons splash photography this morning! They learned the best settings for getting action shots of the water once it was released from the balloon. These are just a few photos we got of them taking those photos!

Our junior cosmetology students just wrapped up an “Emotions of Safety in Cosmetology” poster project inspired by Inside Out 2. Each team used the characters to teach and learn safety and sanitation in a fun, visual way. The posters are on display down the Cosmetology Hall, we are having a hard time picking a favorite!
