Partners: your presence matters. You may think you don't know what you're doing...you may be uncertain if you have what it takes...

But the truth is that all you need to do is BE WITH your partner. Hold space. You don't have to fix it or make it go away. You just need to exist with and honor the person that you love...the person that you love who is bringing your baby earthside.

Josh and Casey illustrated this so beautifully during the birth of their first born daughter. Josh held her hand, never left her side. You can see the empathy in his face and the passion in his embrace. THIS is what birth can look like. It can be the most incredible depiction of the love you share...

I've seen a lot of things over the 100's of births we've documented.. but this was a first. Baby had so much vernix, she made a perfect 'stamp' on her daddy's shirt while he held her for the first time. You can see her perfectly curled body, arm, leg and foot...
