Sketching from Nature - Homeschool Edition (JAN 14)

Learn the history of great American sketchbook artists while we practice our drawing, observation and composition skills. We will begin by foraging for interesting subjects in the beautiful enclosed yard. We will then bring our treasures into the cozy studio to create a spread inspired by our morning.

A small sketchbook and supplies will be provided but feel free to bring your own.

Drawing Fundamentals • Youth • JAN 8-MARCH 12

A realistic drawing class for kids where we explore a variety of artistic techniques including light logic, color theory, realistic drawing, human proportion, and perspective. We will use markers, color pencil, graphite pencils, and oil pastel to draw animals, people, and architecture. Each week is a new lesson and a new piece of art!

OIL PAINTING - November 10-14 🎨
This class is designed for adults working at all levels interested in learning oil painting principles. We will explore painting from life as well as use of photography using a variety of subjects. Beginners will learn first standard procedures and best practices, then will learn how to paint from life and explore the use of photography.
