Me and Vanessa from JR's BBQ N MORE
moments before they PUT US TO WORK handing out backpacks and school supplies to hundreds of families at the Keller Independent School District Back to School Bash today. I am so grateful I got to be a small part of a day where parents were setting their kids up for success this school year! 🤩 And as a bonus I got to volunteer with my fellow Greater Keller Chamber members. ⭐️

There are so many things I love about living in Keller. One of my favorites is the strong sense of community. The Greater Keller Chamber of Commerce partnered with the Keller ISD Education Foundation to support the students of Keller ISD at the Back to School Bash by donating 1,000 backpacks. Another local organization near and dear to my heart, National Charity League Keller, supported by stuffing backpacks this morning.
The Chamber, the Foundation and NCL always step up to support our community and especially our kids. Thank you so very much!!
I would also like to thank everyone who donated supplies to fill the backpacks, donated full backpacks, volunteered to stuff backpacks, and to Reagan Wallick for transporting the 305 full backpacks from my house to FRHS early this am. You are why I am proud to be part of the Keller community and Keller ISD!!

Huge THANK YOU to our generous supporters Sloan and Staci Harris for personally donating over 350 backpacks for KISD students!
Shout out to the Greater Keller Chamber for hosting a community backpack drive, making sure students have a great start to the school year!
And last but not least, thank you to Bev Dixon for leading volunteer efforts and to NCL for helping us stuff backpacks!!
Together, we can do so much to impact education in Keller ISD!
