Today our 5th graders got to live a real college experience at Chaminade University of Honolulu!
They joined hands-on classes taught by university professors, explored a science lab, enjoyed campus life, and even wrapped up the day with a special “I Go To College” graduation! 🎉🎓 What a fun way to imagine their futures and dream big!💫

In honor of MLK Day, our learners came together for a “Mix It Up” lunch and recess, building new friendships, sharing laughs, and celebrating unity. A simple reminder that kindness, connection, and love are how we make our community brighter.❤️

Have you heard the BUZZ!? 🐝

A beautiful morning dawned as the group of 17 dedicated spellers gathered on the St. Theresa School campus.

While only learners from grade 4-8 can qualify for the district Bee, the experience of entering Spelling Bees is valuable to our little ones!

Congratulations to all of the STS spellers! Their remarkable display of poise, sportsmanship, and intelligence was a joy to behold.

Congratulations, Anthony Riola, who prevailed as STS Spelling Champion. He, along with runner up Irie Abalos, will represent St. Theresa School at the district Spelling Bee in February.

Please join us this Saturday and share the news of the Kekaha Home Sweet Home Festival in support of St. Theresa School.  Kūpuna will enjoy sharing stories of the old plantation days and kamali’i will experience their home town from a different perspective.   Relax on a guided trolley ride thru town which departs St. Theresa School every hour on the hour 10am-2pm, last tour @ 1pm. Space is limited. Suggested check-in is 15 minutes prior to tour.

The 10am tour is offered complimentary to kūpuna on a first come-first served basis. If you know anyone interested in pre-registering for the trolley ride, please have them text or call me directly 808-346-9722, Brenda Jose.

$10 per adult, $5 teen, ages 12 and under Free and must be accompanied by an Adult. Waiver form required for all riders. Trolley sponsored by West Kauai Rotary Club. Mahalo!

Mahalo to Kumano I Ke Ala for truly empowering and enriching our west side learners last week Friday! A Makahiki, led by Uncle Norman and Uncle Enoka, assisted by Malama Huleia, West Kauai Rotary Club, and their Ohana was literally the highlight of the STS day! Hawaiian games of strategy and skill challenged us and made our teamwork stronger. Smiling faces all around! Mahalo!

✨🌺 Ohana Day at STS 🌺✨
Smiles, laughter, and lots of aloha filled our campus last week Thursday 💚💛
Mahalo to all our families for kicking off the year with us!

We began with the Mass of the Holy Spirit and Principal’s message, opened our classrooms for families to explore during Open House, gathered for our Ohana Picnic, and ended the day with ice cream and an early dismissal.
