REQUEST 1-night HOST HOMES:
We are delighted to welcome Connecticut-based professional choir CONCORA with a chamber orchestra to Keene in October 2026. CONCORA will be on their New England Tour to present Geoffrey Hudson's "A Passion for the Planet" and the New Hampshire premiere will be at Keene State College involving KSC and Monadnock area singers. We are looking for hosts to provide a 1-night home stay on Saturday, October 3, 2026 and breakfast on Sunday, October 4, 2026. The visitors will have their own transportation and will be arriving to Keene following an evening concert in Brattleboro. Visitors would arrive to host homes around 9-10pm (Sat. 10/3) and departing mid-morning (Sun. 10/4). We can provide hosts with complimentary tickets to the NH premiere performance at the Redfern Arts Center and a multitude of gratitude! ;)

In the fall semester, the KSC Orchestra and Concert Choir will present Dr. Rene Clausen’s “Memorial”, a 30 minute work that commemorates the 911 tragedy. 2026 is the 25th anniversary of this horrific event. We want to honor those who serve to protect our communities.

We are accepting applications from community singers to participate in the New Hampshire premiere of Geoffrey Hudson's climate change oratorio, "A Passion for the Planet." We are thrilled to host professional choir, CONCORA, and Artistic Director, Chris Shepard, to campus to collaborate with the Keene State Concert Choir and community singers!
Singers will be asked to prepare vocal parts for about 13 minutes of the larger work. Singers will attend 3 brief rehearsals from 12-1pm with the KSC Concert Choir on selected Mondays & Wednesdays. Performance is Sunday, October 4, 2026 at the Redfern's Main Theatre.
Scores and part learning tracks will be provided to all accepted singers. There is NO fee to participate.
Singers will be selected on a first-come basis and with consideration of creating balanced voicing within the ensemble. I hope you will join us for this project!
