Can you believe it's almost August? We hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!

We know there's still plenty of summer left, but we wanted to share a few important dates coming up next month so you can plan ahead and mark your calendars!

📬Welcome letters with teacher assignments will be mailed out!

⭐️New Student Orientation 1:30-2:30pm
🍎Meet the Teacher (1st-5th grade) 2:30-3:15pm

🗓️Wednesday, August 26th
🎉First Day of School for grades 1st-5th!

Kindergarten students will have their Meet & Greet on this day. More information about scheduling your appointment will be included in your Welcome Letter!

🍎First Day of School for Kindergarten!

Our 100th year at our current location is coming up in 2028! We are hopeful to find the time capsule before then! Do you know where it was left?! 👀

Big thank you to our Symonds community! Your fundraising efforts, generous donations, and support at our events make so many of the special experiences at Symonds possible. Because of your continued involvement and dedication, we are able to provide fun, enriching, and memorable opportunities like this for our students and families all year.

Wednesday night is graduation night for our 5th graders! 🧑‍🎓👩‍🎓

One of our favorite Symonds traditions is celebrating our graduates with a reception after the ceremony for students and their families. To help make the evening special, and so 5th grade families can be in the moment with their grad, we're looking for donations of treats and help with set up and clean up!

While it was a hot one, we are so happy to have seen so many smiling faces at Circus today!! 💚🎪

A huge thank you to our incredible staff for all the helping hands, and to our 5th graders for creating such fun and exciting games for everyone to enjoy. Thank you to the Keene Fire, Keene, NH Police Department, and the City of Keene for bringing in the trucks today, the students loved it! Thank you Stonewall farm for sharing some of your adorable animals with us! ❤️

Thank you to Kona Ice for helping everyone cool down in the heat, and to all the families who dropped off canopies and yard games. The canopies made a HUGE difference in making the day more comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.

Most importantly, thank you to all the parents and volunteers who helped make today so incredibly successful. Symonds alumni thank you for joining us this afternoon and helping us out, we loved having you back!

Today was a wonderful reminder of what an amazing community we have at Symonds. Thank you all for making Circus Day such a fun and memorable event! 🎉💚
