Keene Elementary Strings Program

Unfortunately, due to the significant weather impact on Saturday, we have decided to cancel our trip to the stringfest festival on March 29th. Participates please check your email.

A marvelous group, Sons of Mystro, is playing Saturday, March 22nd at 8pm in the Showroom, and Keene string familes has been offered discounted tickets! These two violinists are an offshoot of the group Black Violins who have played at the Colonial. It looks like a really good show and they want to fill the seats! Regular price is $35, discount is $18.

Sons of Mystro – THE COLONIAL THEATRE Born in South Florida to a Jamaican father and Barbadian mother, brothers Malcolm and Umoja learned to play violin through South Florida’s public school system, and attended Dillard High School for the Performing Arts.

The Keene elementary string program and the Keene Middle School are probably presenting a string share concert. This will be our first concert of the year and give our up-and-coming middle school students a chance to share what they have been working on and their lessons and to see what the middle school is playing. We hope this will inspire our elementary string students to keep playing music when they change schools. We hope everyone can attend! Amanda and Morgan
