We had a fun filled Keene toastmasters club meeting on Thursday. Summer vacation being the theme we had lots of tomfoolery and playful table topics games to bring the lighthearted feeling back to public speaking. Thank you to all the members and guests that joined us. We hope to see you next time on August 1st!

We had a first time member, baby Remy, join us! Fantastic job at our last meeting with all of our new officers inducted and ready to start the new season! Our soon to be president, Sarah, has many goals and events for Keene TM to start working towards. Looking forward to what’s to come.

What an incredible 40th Anniversary Celebration for Keene Toastmasters! Speeches from Susanne Melling, Andrea Polizos and Chris Estes. Surprise visit from Keene Mayor himself and written proclamations acknowledging this tremendous success. Members and guests enjoyed Potluck and desserts in person and had many attend via zoom. Thank you, Michael Aron and all the Executive Officers, for putting together this marvelous event!

Keene Toastmasters had a CRISPY event yesterday with a speech given by Sarah Wright, fall themed Table Topics and some homemade apple pie at break. We also had two visitors including our very own Div G Director, Suzanne Melling. Thank you all for making this a memorable event. 🍁

On July 21st, Michael Aaron gave us a 20 minute speech and Q&A about the recent Coolidge Cup. He volunteered his time as a Judge for the contest and engaged his audience with details and excitement for the upcoming events.

Though I have been joining via zoom, Keene Toastmasters has made our meetings engaging, educational and entertaining. Michael Aaron’s halo of justice (accidentally discovered by zoom cameras) and the humor of Our new Joke Master role gives something to look forward to in the upcoming meetings.

Keene Toastmasters 4/7/2022. We had a fantastic surprise toastmasters, Linda Ramrath. If I had my “druthers”, all my friends would be joining this club tomorrow. We had new comers, new members and seasoned members all working towards the common goal of being better speakers. What a fantastic support system and a fun, engaging group of people. Joins us next time!
