Dear families,
I this will be my final message as Footsteps Daycare and Learning Center comes to a close at 5:30 today.
I want to thank you all so much for trusting in me and my staff to care for your biggest loves over the years. Thank you for bearing with us through all of the challenges that we have had to work through over the past couple of years, but most of all thank you for showing how much you really appreciated the program we have built over 21 years at Footsteps Daycare and Learning Center. The amount of friendships that have been built between teachers and between the families that are enrolled is truly so special. I feel blessed to have been a part of it all.
And to my outstanding staff,
You ladies have gone above and beyond to help us earn the Greater Monadnock’s Best Childcare Center for 15 years IN A ROW!! We are an excellent team and I cannot thank you all enough for the support and dedication you have showed me.
I wish you all and The YMCA continued success! ❤️❤️

Thank you to the Footsteps community for 21 wonderful years. I have met so many amazing families and have cared for hundreds of children in those years. I have had the privilege of working with some of the most amazing women that I am lucky to call friends. This is a bittersweet chapter.
I am excited the the YMCA will carry on operations for the families that we serve, and offer continued employment to our staff.
I am grateful for the support of this community over the past 2 decades!

Keene Y acquires long-time local child care center The Keene Family YMCA announced Tuesday that it recently acquired Footsteps Daycare and Learning Center in Keene, which will become the YMCA Children's Learning Center South where Footsteps is now.

Due to road conditions, we will be opening at 9:30 today. Snack will not be served, but pizza day is still on.
Please drive safely!

We will be closed today due to the impending storm. Ice is expected for early afternoon after the snowfall.

Yesterday we lost a special person whose life was taken too soon💔
Lydia was a part of the Footsteps family long before she became a teacher. She was in the very first infant class ever at our center at 9 months old, and years later became a teacher after high school. We will remember her for all the lives she touched as a teacher and all the laughs we shared with her as a co-worker.
Our hearts go out to Lydia’s family, many who have also been a part of our staff over the years.
Lydia Massiah, you will forever be in our hearts 💕

As many of you know, Lydia was in a terrible car accident leaving her in critical condition. She is a fighter and has a long fight ahead but we continue to pray for her health and the best possible outcome. She is an important part of our Footsteps Family and we wanted to find a way that we could help!
