As Full Plates, Bright Futures continues to grow, we’re looking to add a few passionate, dedicated people to our Board of Directors!

Our mission is simple: to make sure no child has to worry about going hungry at school. As we continue expanding our impact in our community, we’re looking for individuals who want to help make a difference behind the scenes.

As a board member, you may help with:
• Planning fundraising events
• Building community partnerships and sponsorships
• Brainstorming new ideas and initiatives
• Assisting with social media and outreach
• Helping guide the future of our organization

You don’t need any special experience—just a passion for helping local children and a willingness to be involved. We’re looking for people who can commit to being active members of the team and help us continue growing for years to come.

Local organizers reduce Swanzey school lunch debt with donation By donating thousands to take school lunch debt off families' plates, a trio of locals has found a way to serve a Monadnock Region elementary school.

A quick update! 💚

The $4,000 donation we delivered to Mount Caesar was able to help 43 students with lunch debt.

‼️We’re still actively accepting donations and sponsorships as we continue working to reduce student lunch debt and expand our efforts to support more local children.

Today, we had the privilege of delivering a $4,000 check to Mount Caesar Elementary to help reduce student lunch debt.

While we had hoped to raise enough to completely eliminate the debt, we’re incredibly proud of what our community has accomplished. What started as a simple idea quickly grew into something much bigger, and because of your generosity, we’ve been able to cover more than half of the outstanding lunch debt.

To everyone who donated, shared our posts, attended events, or supported us along the way—thank you. This achievement belongs to all of us.

And we’re not done yet. We have exciting plans ahead, including stocking classroom snack bins with much-needed food, exploring ways to sponsor student lunches in the future, and choosing our next school for student lunch relief!

Full Plates, Bright Futures may be small, but together we’re proving that small acts of kindness can make a big impact.

This is just the beginning, and we’re so grateful to have a community that cares so deeply about its kids❤️

Looking for some community help!

As Full Plates, Bright Futures continues working to support local students, we’re exploring the possibility of purchasing one or two pallets of shelf-stable food and snacks to help stock Mt Caesar classroom snack bins.

Does anyone know of a wholesaler, distributor, grocery store, food supplier, or local business that sells food by the pallet? We’d also be incredibly grateful for any discounts, donations, or community partnerships that could help stretch every dollar further.

Our goal is simple: make sure no child has to worry about being hungry while they’re trying to learn.

Tonight’s Bike Night fundraiser at The Pour House was an incredible success, and we are so grateful for the support from our community.

A huge thank you to Tayler Bassingthwaite, Luke Patnode, and everyone at The Pour House for hosting this event and believing in the mission of Full Plates, Bright Futures. We also want to thank everyone who came out, donated, purchased raffle tickets, donated raffle items, shared our posts, and cheered us on along the way.

Because of your generosity, we raised over $1,500 tonight alone!!!!

That brings our grand total raised to $4,674 toward our $7,000 goal for Mount Caesar Elementary School’s student lunch debt fund.

We now have just $2,326 left to raise before we can pay off the current lunch debt and establish a cushion account to help families who continue to face financial hardship.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We’re getting closer every day, and we couldn’t do it without all of you. ❤️
