New Partnership Spotlight: Our Lady of Mercy Academy & St. Thomas Aquinas College
We are excited to announce the beginning of a new partnership between Our Lady of Mercy Academy and St. Thomas Aquinas College in Northfield, Massachusetts.
As OLMA continues its transition to a Catholic Classical high school, we are intentionally building relationships with colleges and universities that share our commitment to the Catholic intellectual tradition. St. Thomas Aquinas College is nationally recognized for forming students through a rigorous liberal arts education rooted in truth, goodness, and beauty, a mission that beautifully complements our own.
Director of Admissions for New England, John Jost, recently extended a warm invitation for our students to visit campus, experience college life firsthand, and explore the rich academic and spiritual opportunities available there. The College also looks forward to visiting OLMA to meet our students and families as this partnership continues to grow.
These connections provide our students with valuable opportunities to envision their future while reinforcing that a faithful, intellectually rich Catholic education extends well beyond high school.
At OLMA, we are committed to helping students become not only college-ready, but prepared to lead lives of faith, wisdom, virtue, and service. We look forward to sharing more exciting opportunities that emerge through this partnership in the months ahead.

Our Lady of Mercy Academy Joins International Network for Perennial Catholic Education
Keene, NH — 7/26/2026 — Our Lady of Mercy Academy is pleased to announce that it has joined the Perennial Catholic School Network (PCEN), an initiative of the St. John Henry Newman Institute dedicated to strengthening Catholic schools rooted in the Church's intellectual tradition.
"Joining the Perennial Catholic School Network is an exciting milestone in our journey to build a truly Catholic, classical high school. This partnership strengthens our commitment to forming both saints and scholars by investing in our teachers, deepening our academic program, and connecting us with a community of schools dedicated to truth, beauty, and goodness.
At Our Lady of Mercy Academy, we are committed to teaching students not simply what to think, but how to think, to seek truth with wisdom, discern well, and engage the world with both reason and faith. We want our graduates to know their Catholic faith, articulate it with confidence, and defend it with charity and conviction, while developing the intellectual habits to thoughtfully engage every discipline. Our goal is to prepare young men and women for college, careers, and lives of faithful leadership, joyful service, and lasting purpose."
For Our Lady of Mercy Academy, membership marks another step in its commitment to forming students in wisdom and virtue through an authentically Catholic liberal education. As part of the Network, the school gains access to collaboration with peer institutions, professional formation for faculty, and shared resources supporting Catholic identity and academic excellence.

🎻 World-Class Music is Coming to SJRS & OLMA!
We are thrilled to announce that Saint Joseph Regional School and Our Lady of Mercy Academy will once again partner with Ashuelot Concerts to bring world-class classical musicians directly into our schools!
https://ashuelotconcerts.org/schools-program/
📅 Performance Dates
September 3: Middle School & High School (OLMA) Students
October 23: Elementary Students
Ashuelot Concerts is an internationally recognized concert series dedicated to sharing the beauty and excellence of classical music with our community. Each year, they bring exceptional musicians from around the world to perform for more than 5,000 students, creating unforgettable educational experiences.
During these engaging 45-minute interactive performances, students will sit just a few feet away from extraordinary instruments, some crafted by legendary makers such as Stradivarius and Amati over 400 years ago. As the musicians perform selections from their concert series, they also share an inspiring message: what may seem impossible today can become achievable, and even enjoyable, with the right attitude, consistent practice, and perseverance.
Students will learn how musicians develop their craft through discipline and good habits, discover new ways to actively listen to music, and enjoy an interactive question-and-answer session with the performers.
As we continue to cultivate a love for truth, beauty, and goodness through our Catholic classical education, opportunities like these help our students experience firsthand the richness of the arts while inspiring them to pursue excellence in every area of life.
We are incredibly grateful to Ashuelot Concerts for their continued partnership and for investing in the lives of our students. We look forward to another inspiring year of music and learning!
