I'll start. I'm reading way too many things at the same time (I get too excited about wanting to learn something from another book and then jump around). But here's some of what I have my head in:

--Handbook on the New Testament Use of the Old Testament: Exegesis And Interpretation by G.K. Beale

--The Eclipse of God: Our Nation's Disastrous Search for a More Inclusive Deity (and What We Must Do About It) (early copy of forthcoming book by Erwin Lutzer)

Harbor life classes resume our livestream this Monday Nov 6 @ 7. We have three more Monday sessions to conclude the Old Testament Prophets course. Topics for those who like to prepare: 11/6 Ezekiel, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah . 11/13 Daniel, the historical books of Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther. 11/20. Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi.

We will be studying Old Testament Prophets, a companion class to the Pentateuch series and Judges and Kings, both previously taught. Great news: following up on the excitement many have shared about having the Jesus Series available on video, as of this week we announce the addition of The Pentateuch series, teaching through the first five books of the Old Testament! Creation and fall, the flood, the calling and life of Abraham and his son Isaac and grandson Jacob, the captivity in Egypt and deliverance, the giving of the Law, the establishment of the Tabernacle and the coming of age of the nation of Israel--so many wonderful topics.
