Celebrating Mrs. Adele Mackin

Today, during Lincoln Middle School's End-of-Year Awards Ceremony, we recognized Mrs. Adele Mackin on her retirement after 37 years of dedicated service to the Kearny School District.

As a counselor, mentor, and advocate for students, Mrs. Mackin has made a lasting impact on generations of learners and their families. Her compassion, guidance, and commitment to student success have left a legacy that will not be forgotten.

Mrs. Mackin is also a beloved colleague whose kindness, professionalism, and support have touched the lives of countless staff members throughout her career.

Today, Lincoln Middle School recognized the accomplishments of our 8th-grade students during the end-of-year Awards Ceremony.

These students were honored for their academic achievement, leadership, citizenship, perseverance, and dedication throughout the school year. We are proud of their hard work and the positive contributions they have made to our school community.

🐚 Fossil Excavation: Mrs. Lee's 7th-grade science students wrapped up their fossil record unit with an excavation.
Using scientific tools, students searched for and uncovered index fossils.
Next, they'll analyze and identify their discoveries using the geoscience skills they've developed throughout the unit.
