A final farewell to our community, staff and students. Thank you for your love and support for the last 62 years. We have laughed together, cried together, learned and grown. We will miss you all. We wish you success wherever life takes you. We hope you keep a part of the Wildcat spirit and pride with you as we all go separate ways.

Just a reminder that our open house is Monday the 20th from 5-7. Come walk the halls one last time, get a commemorative Western Hills pin, feed your family at the food trucks and more. Hope to see you there.

Tonight is our school play from 6-7. The students, with the help of Mrs. Habel, have put together a musical production celebrating the last 100 years. We hope you can come join us!

We will be holding an end of school openhouse on May 20th from 5 - 7 pm for anyone that wants to come walk the halls of Western Hills one last time before we close the school. If you have any school memorabilia that you would like displayed that night to help us share in the memories of the last 62 years please email a copy to [email protected] or bring it by the school m-f from 8-4. All items used that night will be tagged and returned to the owner.

Western Hills will be hosting a school closing open house on May 20th for any one interested in coming to walk our halls one last time. If you have stories, photos or memorabilia you would like to share you can email it to [email protected] or bring it to the school by May 15th.

White ribbon week is Feb 20-24th, celebrating digital citizenship awareness. Tuesday is backwards day. Wednesday is crazy hair day. Thursday wear white. Friday is pajama day.

Tuesday January 23rd there is a joint community council meeting for Western Hills and Silver Hills at 4:00 in the Silver Hills media center. Part of the meeting will be to talk about safe walking routes for next year. All community members are welcome.

On November 14th as part of the Granite School District Board Meeting there will be a public hearing and first reading of the official proposal to potentially close Western Hills. Public comment will be allowed at this meeting. They have sign-ups for comments, if you would like to make a comment you need to be there early to sign up. Comments are limited to 2 minutes per person. The decision at this meeting IS NOT A FINAL DECISION on the potential school closure but comments are encouraged if you would like to go. Please refer to the attached Offical Notice for more details.

Granite police made us aware of a new scam targeting parents of students. We emailed home a flyer today. Here is a link to a news story as well.
