Our FBLA officer team had the opportunity to attend the Nebraska FBLA Fall Leadership Conference today in Kearney! As a group they were able to take away several ideas to strengthen our local chapter this school year.

Want to learn more about our schools Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs)? Join us tomorrow for our membership kickoff at 6:00! We will be serving burgers, hot dogs, chips, and root beer floats. There will also be a water balloon toss and kickball game. We hope to see you there!

Connor and Peyton did a great job representing Minden FBLA at the 2022 FBLA National Leadership Conference! The past four days were spent learning, networking, and competing with students from around the nation. In our free time we got the chance to take in a show at Medieval Times, travel to the top of Willis Tower, and explore the Navy Pier! These two will be greatly missed from our chapter next year, but we’re excited to follow their continued success in the years to come.

Peyton got 2nd Place in the Future Business Leader event at National FBLA! What an amazing accomplishment! Peyton is the perfect student leader to represent our local FBLA chapter, Minden Public Schools, and the state of Nebraska!

NATIONAL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE UPDATE: Peyton was selected as one of the 15 finalists for the Future Business Leader event! She competed against 76 high school students from around the country in the preliminary round and will have a final interview tomorrow afternoon. We hope to see her on the national stage at the awards ceremony on Saturday night!

These 9 students had a great experience at the Nebraska FBLA State Leadership Conference these past three days in Kearney! All 9 students performed in multiple competitive events each day and the results are as follows:

Peyton: 5th Place in Future Business Leader & Honorable Mention in Organizational Communication

Connor: 5th Place in Help Desk

Zac: Honorable Mention in Personal Finance & Honorable Mention in Securities & Investments

Callie: Honorable Mention in Introduction to Business Communication
