UNK Student & Family Transitions

We create an environment that allows students to thrive in their transitions to college life at UNK!

Our mission is to (a) welcome all new undergraduate students, including first-generation and transfer students, and their families to the University of Nebraska at Kearney; and (b) provide a seamless transition into UNK through programming, services, and involvement opportunities that promote an inclusive, affirming, and welcoming environment.

Looking for an fun way to meet new people and take a break from classes? This week at Find Your Herd we are making sand art and painting mini canvases. Stop by to create something cute, relax, and connect with other students in a welcoming space.

Find Your Herd happens every Friday from 12:30 to 2:30 in the SEL office behind Starbucks. Come solo or bring a friend. We would love to see you there!
