Parent-Teacher Conferences are just around the corner (Thursday, October 23) and we would love your help showing our appreciation for our wonderful KHS teachers and staff!

The PTO will be providing a meal for approximately 80 teachers and staff members during conferences. We are asking our KHS families to help make this possible through donations of food, supplies, or monetary contributions.

There are three easy ways to help:

Last week, our students had the opportunity to explore their options for life after high school at our KHS College & Career Fair!

With 65 college and career representatives in the gym, students had the chance to ask questions, make connections, collect information, and explore options for life after high school.

College isn't the only path after graduation, and neither is one specific career. We want our students to see the many possibilities available to them and feel confident in exploring what comes next.

Thank you to all of the colleges, businesses, military representatives, training programs, and organizations that took the time to connect with our students. We appreciate you being here and sharing your time with our students!

Happy National Custodial Worker Recognition Day!

Today we're celebrating our amazing Kearney High School custodial team! Brandon and Carlos are representing the crew in the photo, but we're so thankful for Brenda, Amita, Stephen, Jim, and Elvis too!

So much of what they do happens behinds the scenes, but their work makes a big difference every day. They keep our building clean, safe, welcoming, and running smoothly, and we couldn't do it without them.

Our Tackle Hunger in Kearney event is happening tonight, too! Bring a non-perishable food item and get entered into a drawing for a Kearney Baseball gift basket. The winner will be announced at the beginning of halftime.

Orders end tonight at midnight!!!

Bulldog yard signs are back as a fundraiser for the 2026 KHS Prom. Proceeds from every purchase will help support this year’s event for our students.

The main Bulldog sign and stake is $59. Families may also add up to three personalized plaques for $13 each featuring a student’s name, sport, club, class or activity.

These signs aren’t just for high school families. Over the years, families of younger Bulldogs have also purchased signs and personalized plaques to show their Kearney pride.

Orders are due by Friday, Sept. 18, with delivery expected the week of Oct. 19. Order your Bulldog yard sign today!

Schedule Pick up for Juniors and Seniors is today from 9:30AM-11:30AM and 12:30PM-2:30PM

Reasons to attend Schedule Pick-Up

Hard copy of your schedule- (For those who have completed BTS Registration) Link for registration: https://www.ksdr1.net/enrollment

Immunizations- Drop off immunization records (if you did not upload in PowerSchool) *All incoming Seniors must have the second dose of meningococcal vaccine in order to start school.
