AJ Faz started this week as our Fall Intern. AJ graduated from Kearney Public Schools High School in 2019. AJ is a senior University of Nebraska at Kearney UNK Department of Criminal.

AJ has been working at Menards for the last 3 years as a load builder. AJ loves soccer, hunting, day trading, and recently golf. AJ plans to apply with KPD as an officer after he graduates.

We are so proud of Emerson!

Please join us in welcoming our Summer 2022 Police Intern, Emerson Canales! Emerson is currently a Senior at the University of Nebraska at Kearney studying Criminal Justice UNK Department of Criminal Justice. Emerson will complete 340 hours with KPD, to include an in depth exposure to all facets of the department, community, and city government. Additionally, Emerson will complete and present a final project to the Chief of Police and Command Staff, which must have a positive impact on the community or operational efficiencies within the organization.
