UNK faculty member Kaiti George was recently recognized for her commitment to education, nutrition and the Kearney community.

She received the Excellence in Education honor during last week’s Kearney Inspire Awards luncheon.

Kaiti is a senior lecturer in the Department of Kinesiology and Sport Sciences and sports dietitian for UNK Athletics.

“Through education, encouragement and example, Kaiti inspires students to keep learning and use their knowledge to improve the lives of others throughout Nebraska and beyond,” her nomination stated.
