From a conversation this morning that just made my morning… I ❤️ what I do.

I started working with this young teen last school year to prepare him for his application to 3 private schools on Oahu. He is now starting this week at the high school he was accepted into.

The family had him continue his learning with me. We have covered proper manners, budgeting, among many other subjects. And for the past few months, I have been teaching him about Fallacies. He now can recognize falsehoods within society.

Today was the Miss Hawaii Island USA workshop on Communications and Etiquette for Miss Congeniality! Every year I offer this workshop for the young ladies of the pageant as well as girls in the community who are interested in improving their communication skills. Every year I gauge the training right on the spot based on age and participation and every year has been different… no cookie-cutter training ever! It was one hour for the Littles and one hour for the Teens and Miss packed with laughs and learning! These are some of the current title holders who assisted in the workshop.
