Big Island Youth Camp

Working on plans for a summer youth camp for churches in our network on July 22-26! Forgot to post that we had a camp last year (2023). Will try to add pictures sometime.

Devo thought for day 2

Iron sharpens iron. What a picture. I'm visualizing two swords, clashing together with sparks flying. It's almost medieval to think about our faith like this but I love what it stands for. Iron, swords can't sharpen themselves. When you sharpen a sword or a knife you get a stone made of like materials and through a series of strokes, rubbing them together until one becomes very sharp.

Who are you sharpening yourself on? Do you hang out with people regularly for the purpose of drawing close to God? Does this just happen at camp?

If you want to continue to feed your fire you will make youth group a priority. You will make church or your small group a priority. Don't dismiss it because you are too busy with sports or studying.. make time! It will sharpen you and help you to be ready to love a dying world for Jesus.
