Brilliant orange-red, trumpet-shaped flowers bring a burst of color to the landscape just when many summer blooms are beginning to fade. The flowers are especially irresistible to hummingbirds, while the low arching form gives this plant, a relaxed, almost cascading groundcover appearance.
A Utah native built for sunny, dry conditions, this tough perennial thrives in well-drained soils and can keep blooming from summer well into fall. It may be small in stature, but its color and wildlife appeal make a big impression.
