Back in 2016, you may have been too busy playing Pokémon Go to look up from your phone and see the opening of Kay’s Creek Elementary. Somehow, it's already been 10 years. Time flies.
To celebrate the milestone, 700 students gathered to form the number 10 for a commemorative photo. The image reflects this year's theme, "10 Years. One Team. Infinite Impact!"
A huge shoutout goes to Principal Janice Bukey, who spent countless hours planning every student's placement before expertly organizing the entire photo on the big day.
Bukey says the absolute best part of the school community is the powerful partnership between dedicated educators, engaged families and ambitious students. Together, they have created a school community where every child is encouraged to grow and succeed.
As Kay’s Creek celebrates its first decade, the school is looking ahead to the next 10 years with a continued commitment to strong community connections, student success, innovation and kindness.
