Marilú is the mother of Maira, Nataly and Cristian, three of the children who attend the ECH Rays of Hope children's program in Jesus, Peru. Marilú is a single mother and has 5 children. Marilú does not have a regular job, but finds small work to help provide food, but due to Peru's COVID-19 restrictions she cannot leave her home to come into the village, so she has no money or food for her family. Her family does not receive help from the government, because of her rural location and because she did not (could not) fill out a census.
