📣 5th Grade Families — Kickstart is TOMORROW! 🧡🖤
We’re excited to welcome our incoming 5th graders to River View tomorrow, August 19, from 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.!

đźš— DROP-OFF REMINDERS
Students may be dropped off beginning at 7:45 a.m. and will meet their homeroom class at the tennis courts (gym if raining).

➡️ Front Parking Lot: Enter using Island St./Maple St. to access the front lot near the tennis courts. The front entrance from Lawe St./Crooks Ave. is blocked.

➡️ Quick Drop-Off Option: Families may also enter at the traffic light on Island St. and drop students off on the river side of the building. Students can then make the short walk to the tennis courts. This may be the quickest option!

Please help us keep traffic moving. If you’d like extra time for hugs, pictures, etc., please park rather than stopping in the drop-off flow. ❤️

đźš™ PICKUP & FAMILY ORIENTATION
Kickstart ends at 12:00 p.m.

👨‍👩‍👧 Families are invited to our 5th Grade Family Orientation from 12:15–12:45 p.m. in the River View auditorium.

Please talk with your student BEFORE drop-off about their plan for after Kickstart:
• If you are attending orientation, your student should wait for you at the tennis courts, and you can walk to the auditorium together.
• If you are not attending orientation, please make sure your student knows their transportation/pickup plan after Kickstart.

📸 Reminder: All students attending Kickstart will have their school pictures taken.

Today is the day!

Join us tonight at 6:00 PM as we celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Kaukauna Middle School!

Parking at the event site is extremely limited. Shuttles will pick up guests between 5:15 and 5:45 PM at the Kaukauna High School east parking lot off Loderbauer near the soccer and baseball fields. Shuttles will return guests immediately following the ceremony. Only vehicles with a valid handicap permit may park on site. To access the site, turn off Highway KK onto Speedway Lane and follow the signs.

The ceremony will include District and student speakers, a performance by the middle school band, a ceremonial shovel turn, and refreshments following the program.

Happy Retirement to 9 Middle School Legends!

Today, we want to take a moment to celebrate and honor nine incredible educators who are officially closing their classroom doors and stepping into a well-deserved retirement.

To say they will be missed is an understatement. Together, they have dedicated decades of service, patience, wisdom, and humor to our students.

Please join us in wishing a very happy retirement to: Mr. Hinkens, Mrs. Woznicki, Mrs. Bauer, Mrs. Hinz, Mr. Lemmers, Mrs. Huss, Ms. Kempen, Mr. Hinz, and Ms. Evers (not pictured).

We hope you’ll join us next Monday, June 8, as we celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Kaukauna Middle School. This is a historic moment for our District and a project that will serve generations of Kaukauna students and families.

The event begins at 6:00 PM and will include District and student speakers, the middle school band, a ceremonial shovel turn, and refreshments following the program.
