The Kaukauna Activities Department is happy to announce that Coach David Galarno will be the head coach for our newly formed Girls Wrestling team. Coach Galarno wrestled at New Holstein High School where he was a two time Conference Champion, two time Regional Champion, two time Sectional Champion and two time Division 2 third place finisher at the WIAA State Wrestling Tournament in 2010 and 2011. David then went on to wrestle at Lakeland College where he was a Conference Campion and named the Lakeland Wrestling Rookie of the year.

Coach Galarno has coached with the Kimberly Youth Wrestling Club and the JR Gerrits Middle School team since 2022.

From Coach Galarno: "I began wrestling at the age of 5 and it has been a passion of mine ever since. I have been involved in coaching wrestling for just over 10 years and I was beyond excited when I saw the approval of the Kaukauna Girls Wrestling program. I truly enjoy reaching athletes of all levels and helping them reach their maximum potential."

Update: Kaukauna High School Soccer gets the late goal to secure the 2-1 win over Appleton East!

Last night the Ghosts blanked the Seymour Thunder 5-0 in non-conference play. Tonight they open up their FVA season by hosting Appleton East.

We're excited to see everyone tomorrow as we kick off the 2026-27 school year! Please see below for important reminders!

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back to KHS on Tuesday, September 1!

A reminder that our first day of school here at KHS looks a little different from a typical school day:

👻 Freshmen & New Students: Report at 7:50 a.m. for Launch Day activities led by our Ghost Crew.

🏫 Returning students in grades 10–12: Report at 12:15 p.m. for an abbreviated school day.
School will dismiss at 3:15 p.m., and we’ll begin our normal daily schedule on Wednesday, September 2.

🚌 Buses will run at their normal times on September 1. Students in grades 10–12 who ride the bus or are unable to arrange transportation for the 12:15 p.m. start are welcome to come to school at the normal time and spend the morning in the commons.

📧 Families: Keep an eye on your email tomorrow for additional important reminders and information as we get ready to start the school year!
