Welcome Back to Culinary Arts!

Welcome back to school! We are excited to begin another wonderful year in Culinary Arts and can't wait to see all of our students back in the kitchen.

This year will be filled with new recipes, hands-on labs, creative projects, and opportunities to develop valuable skills that can be used both in the classroom and beyond. Whether this is your first culinary class or you're returning for another year, we're looking forward to helping you grow as a cook and build confidence in the kitchen.

We encourage our families to stay involved and support our students throughout the year as they learn, create, and explore the world of food and hospitality.

It's going to be a fantastic year, and we can't wait to get started!

As the 2026–2027 school year approaches, I'm working to stock our Culinary Arts classroom and would appreciate any support from our amazing community.

My students go through a tremendous amount of supplies each day, and I would much rather spend our budget on food and hands-on learning experiences than on consumable classroom items.

• Hair bands
• Band-Aids
• Pencils
• Pens
• Ziploc bags (all sizes)
• Aluminum foil
• Plastic wrap
• Paper towels
• Plasticware
• Solo cups
• Disposable plates
• Disposable bowls
• Kosher salt
• Black pepper
• Squeeze bottles
• Baking essentials (sugar, flour, chocolate chips, brown sugar, powdered sugar, vanilla, etc.)

My students have been busy preparing for one of the very best national celebration days—National Biscuit Day, which is tomorrow!
I truly believe biscuits deserve a day all their own. There’s just something special about those warm, flaky layers fresh from the oven. Whether you love them smothered in sausage gravy, slathered with butter and strawberry jam, or enjoyed all by themselves, biscuits are pure comfort food.
Our culinary students have been hard at work making scratch-made buttermilk biscuits, jalapeño cheese biscuits, creamy sausage gravy, whipped strawberry butter, and fluffy scrambled eggs for our amazing staff.
I have no doubt our staff is going to enjoy every delicious bite!
