🌿 Community Call for Compassion 🌿

Hey friends 💛
I’m reaching out to see if anyone might have gently used or new boys’ summer clothes in sizes 3T and 5T to donate. A local family experienced an incident at their home causing major damage and sadly, some of their belongings couldn’t be salvaged.

They don’t have insurance, so they’re starting from scratch. If you’re able to help, I’ll be happy to serve as the go-between to get items to them.

My heart is grieving tonight.

Not from the lens of politics, race, or gender—but from the lens of humanity.

The news of Charlie Kirk’s killing is not only tragic, it is heartbreaking. A life cut short by hate leaves behind ripples of pain that touch his family especially his wife, his children & his friends… and it forever reshapes their story. That is not fair, and it should never be the way anyone’s journey is rewritten.

Somewhere along the way, we’ve forgotten what it feels like to truly listen, to feel safe in sharing our voice, and to disagree without destroying one another. Words carry power. They can wound deeply, or they can heal.

Today, I choose to remember the days when love and respect were more present—when kids were allowed to simply be kids, and neighbors loved each other without hesitation. My sadness is real, but so is my compassion in humanity.

I still believe there is hope. I still believe in healing. And I believe that as a nation, we can find our way back to love.

I’m preparing to host Back-to-School Workshops for youth ages 8 to 17, and one of our featured activities will be a Vision Board Project—designed to inspire kids and teens to set goals, dream big, and visualize their future.

To make this possible, I’m seeking donations of:

📖 Gently used books
🗞️ Newspapers

These materials will be used to help participants create meaningful and personal vision boards.
