I’m grateful for every child, every family, every teacher, every memory. That place held so much love and growth, and it will always be part of me.
I know what we created mattered and the best is yet to come💛

As I step into 2026, I do so with my burdens laid at the altar, trusting fully that God’s plan is far greater than the one I imagined for myself.

I’ve completed a chapter of my life that didn’t unfold the way I expected, yet it is one I hold with deep pride and gratitude. For the past 12 years, I had the honor of owning and operating Enchantment Kids Fine Arts Learning Center, a school that was truly one of a kind.

When I look back, I see a place where children had no limits. Together, we explored the world through splash days and snow days, field trips, Galveston adventures, art performances, communication, creativity, and connection. There were no ceilings placed on curiosity or joy.

I cry tears of both pain and joy as I reflect on it all. These are moments I will forever cherish.

I may not have captured every memory in photos, but please know if your child isn’t pictured, they were likely in the background, fully immersed, laughing, creating, and having the time of their life.

I’ve always cared deeply for people, especially children and those whose voices are often overlooked. I supported families wholeheartedly and went above and beyond so parents could have true peace of mind knowing their child was safe, nurtured, and truly loved.

Enchantment Kids was never just a business. It was a safe space. A home. A place where children could grow, belong, and thrive.

I’m also incredibly proud of the many educators I’ve mentored along the way. Watching them grow, earn promotions, step into leadership, and accomplish incredible things has been one of the greatest honors of my career. I helped pave the way for so many and now, it’s my turn.

While I am heartbroken in this moment, I remain confident and hopeful. I believe there is someone who shares the mission and vision of EK, someone who believes in inclusion, creativity, and community and who will partner to help build the integrated environment our early learners, and all learners, so deeply deserve.

Our young artists explored the magic of light using oil pastels to create glowing designs that shine with color and imagination. By layering bright hues on dark backgrounds, children discovered how contrast makes artwork come alive, just like lights in the night sky.
