We are so excited to have Mr. Theodoroulis back in That Roarin’ Band from Tigerland! We look forward to a great year!

George Theodoroulis grew up in Athens, Greece before moving to Katy and graduating from Katy High School in 2017. While a member of the Katy Tiger Band, he played trombone and euphonium. He attended the University of North Texas and earned a degree in music education. Mr. Theodoroulis served as the Associate Director of Bands at Corsicana High School before transitioning to be the Director of Bands at Sealy High School.

While a student at Katy High School, Mr. Theodoroulis was a part of the Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band at Katy High School, was the Brass Captain for the marching band, performed with a full orchestra, and took AP Music Theory. He was a section leader and field tech for the UNT Green Brigade, and marched with the Boston Crusaders, where he received in the Excellence in Brass Award in the 2019 season.

Mr. Theodoroulis was on Brass Staff at The Guardians Drum & Bugle Corps in 2023, and on the Visual Staff for Genesis Drum & Bugle Corps in 2025. He currently serves as a section leader for the Cypress Winds Community Band. Mr. Theodoroulis is also an avid composer, show designer, and arranger, and holds memberships with TMEA and TBA.
