💙Thanks again to every person who donated anything to help me make my FREE BOOK FAIR happen for our Eagles! We had so many great books for students to pick from all week long! Every kid who wanted a book left so happy! Many even commented that it was so hard to pick just one!

📚All returning MPJH students who bring back their Summer Reading bookmark filled in will be able to join our summer reading celebration in August!

MPJH LIBRARY will host a FREE BOOK FAIR May 18-21 during students' RLA Final Exam, but we need your gently used books to make sure we have enough to share!
Please donate any junior high appropriate novels, graphic novels, or other books to the library from May 4-15. Students can drop them off at the library or parents can drop them off at the front office.

In May the MPJH Library will allow each student to pick a FREE book to take home for the summer. If you have books your child is finished reading that you could donate to our FREE BOOK FAIR, please send them with your child to Mrs. Lewis in the Library! Thank you in advance!

Happy Library Week! Library aides made over 300 buttons that students were able to “earn” on Monday at lunch. Students had to spin the wheel and answer a library or book themed question. I loved getting a chance to talk to those who stopped by about their answers!

Happy National Library Week!

We asked each class that came to the library this month to share “Why You Love the Library” on sticky notes that we have gathered on our window.

It is nice to know we have created a place that students enjoy coming to!

This week in celebration of National School Library Month, 9 students adopted a shelf on our main bookshelf display. They each did a great job of decorating their shelves to encourage others to check out the books they have loved from the MPJH Library!

Local Katy ISD families are welcome to come to the workshop at Maud Marks tomorrow night!

Do you need a little offline way to destress? Order some mini coloring books from A Brighter Year between April 7-17, and a portion of each sale goes back to the MPJH Library! Your order ships straight to you at the beginning of May! Students can pack the books and some markers in their backpacks to have for Advisory time or after tests!
