This Father’s Day, take the time and make it one day your kids will remember. As a father it is by far the greatest honor I will ever receive and I take pride in being their dad. Time should never be taken for granted, so make the most of it while you can. Cheers to all those dads out there that are showing their kids how a man takes care of his children and to show them what it means to be a father.
Last night we had our adult/teen belt and stripe promotions. This part of the job is the most fulfilling and makes me the most proud of what we do. We provide an outlet, an opportunity, a space, and a challenge for each individual. The challenge is to challenge yourself to become better than you think you can be. Martial arts and jiu jitsu is just a metaphor for life. It tells you to have the courage to start, the perseverance to keep going, to overcome your fears and self doubt, and to enjoy the journey with those around you. Congratulations to everyone and we look forward to more.

We wanted to let everyone know that our academy will be CLOSED this Monday in observance of Memorial Day.
