This is my friend McKenzie. She is 7 years old. She, Annabelle and I were sitting at the table each working on different projects. Annabelle said this color is McKenzie' s skin color, she is mixed. So from there developed a conversation about how beautiful Mckenzie's skin is and I innocently said I have to pay lots of money to have skin that color. McKenzie looked at me and said, "Mrs. Amy, you are beautiful in your own skin." And yes to those of you who know me I cried. Funny but in the background on TV was a news report on 4 women in Washington who seem to need to talk to McKenzie!
