☀️ 🍧 Happy National Popsicle Day from Kidco Learning Center! 🍧 ☀️Did you know who invented the very first popsicle and how? 🤔Back in 1905, an 11-year-old boy named Frank Epperson accidentally left a cup of powdered soda mix and water outside on his porch overnight—with the stirring stick still inside! It froze solid in the chilly night air, and the "Epsicle" was born. He later patented his accidental creation as the beloved Popsicle!Our Kidco kids had a blast celebrating this sweet history lesson with some refreshing treats out on the playground today. ❤️🤍

✨ This morning’s adventures at the center! ✨

We kicked off our day with something very exciting… fire alarm checks 🔥🚨
The kids were not impressed — a few even told us it was “so sad,” complete with dramatic faces and tiny sighs. Their reactions had us cracking up.

Once the alarms settled down, we jumped right into the fun stuff! The kiddos spent time sorting, practicing fine motor skills, and exploring sensory‑touch materials. Watching them focus, explore, and celebrate their little victories is honestly the best part of our day.

And even though the forecast says rain is on the way, we’re definitely not letting that ruin our fun. We’re keeping the energy high, the activities engaging, and the smiles coming. 🌧️➡️😄

Every day is an adventure — rain or shine — and we love sharing it with these amazing kiddos. 💛

🎨 Dear Parents,

If your child comes home today looking suspiciously like a Picasso painting, please accept our sincerest apologies. 😅

Today, we were working hard on developing fine motor skills, tracing, and drawing. Then our director had what seemed like a brilliant idea: "Let's let them use markers!"

Well... let's just say the markers won.

What started as a fine motor activity quickly turned into a magnificent explosion of color that somehow ended up everywhere... on the paper, the tables, the chairs, and yes, even the children themselves. 🌈🖍️

The good news? Their fine motor skills are improving beautifully.

The bad news? We may all need an extra load of laundry tonight.
