e are a Rachel’s Challenge School and have a very active Friends of Rachel group. We strive to provide an atmosphere that is safe and fun by emphasizing excellence in relationships just as much as in academics, athletics, and other extracurricular events. Statistics
Seven Lakes Junior High School was established in 2012 and serves approximately 1700 students with a staff of 132 adults. We are in a growing community and expect an increase in enrollment and staff over the next couple of years. Our student body is 46% Caucasian, 23% Hispanic, 8% African American, 17% Asian, and 5% economically disadvantaged. Our student body also consists of 12% Gifted and Talented, 4% English as a Second language, and 7% Special Education.

📚✨ A New Chapter at the SLJH Library! ✨📚

This week, our library kicked off 6th-grade lessons and officially started a new chapter with our newest Spartans! Mrs. Schilling & Mrs. Poole loved taking time to introduce themselves, connect with students and staff, and share a little treat to help everyone recharge and get ready for the exciting weeks ahead.

They are looking forward to a year filled with reading, learning, exploring, and making the SLJH Library a place where everyone feels welcome. 💙📖

A HUGE Congratulations to the yearbook team from last year! Seven Lakes Junior High was featured in the Jostens Look Book 2026! Their book was one of 500 out of 1200 submissions to be chosen to be featured, so this is a huge accomplishment! Seven Lakes Yearbook was showcased as an example of excellence, creativity, inclusion, and innovation!
